On this episode, we explore the themes of All Saints’ Day, traditionally the last red-letter day of the Christian year in the prayer book. We will discuss the communion of the saints, the reality that Christians enjoy a fellowship that crosses space and time, perseverance in faith, being sealed for preservation from judgment as one of the elect of God’s covenant people, the role of the saints in the heavenly liturgy, enduring persecution for Christ’s sake, the blessings and consolations of eternal life that await the saints, and how we taste of such heavenly blessings even now.
